Eligibility Criteria For 155 PMA Long Course

Eligibility criteria to Join Pak Army through PMA long course is given as:

1. Candidate should be unmarried
2. Minimum height is 5.4 feet (165 cm).
3. A candidate should qualify the minimum given physical and medical standards.
4. Candidates those are twice not recommended by ISSB are not eligible to apply.
5. A candidate is only eligible for marks relaxation is he studied or lived in special areas.

PMA Long Course 155 Details

• Minimum 55 % marks in FA/FSc/DAE/O-level.
• 50% marks for serving Army Soldiers.
• Candidates who have studied FSC Part-1 and Advance Subsidiary exam 2022 can also apply on “Hope Certificate of 55% Marks” duly issued by Head of the Institution.

• Twice rejected by Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB).
• Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance in ISSB except waiver granted by the competent authority.
• Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).

Physical Test

Initial Interview

Candidates clearing written, Medical & Physical Test will be finally interviewed by S&ROs instead of Brigadier (by the formation) and Psychologist. Before interview every candidate will be required to write an essay of 10 lines in English and Urdu. Plain paper to be issued to candidates before interview for Eng and Urdu essay.

Confidence and proper concentration re required to pass the initial interview. After clearing PMA initial interview, candidates have to submit their ISSB forms. After 2-3 months they are called ISSB test.

PMA Long Course ISSB Merit & Selection

Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) will fill in all required entries (Physical Test & Interview marks) in the module. Further nomination of candidates for Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) will be done by Personal Administration Directorate through merit. Detailed medical examination of Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby Combined Military Hospitals. The final selection will be made at General Headquarters on the basis of the candidate’s performance.
