Candidates will undergo an intelligence test that includes both verbal and non-verbal questions. This test assesses the candidate’s problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and understanding of concepts without the use of language (non-verbal).
Academic Test
Following the intelligence test, there is an academic test that covers topics relevant to the job position for which the candidate is applying. This could include questions on general knowledge, mathematics, science, or specific subjects related to the naval field.
Preliminary Medical Examination
After passing the written tests, candidates must go through a preliminary medical examination. This step is to ensure that the candidate is physically fit and meets the health standards required for service in the Navy.
Interview
Successful candidates are then called for an interview conducted by the Naval Selection Board. This interview aims to evaluate the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and suitability for a career in the Navy.
Final Selection
The final selection is made by the Naval Headquarters. This decision is based on the candidate’s performance in the intelligence test, academic test, medical examination, and interview. Those who are selected will receive further instructions and training details.
