The candiates who are selected for the positions of Assistant (BPS-15), UDC (BPS-11), and LDC (BPS-09) must successfully complete the mandatory IT Training course provided by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) before their probation period comes to an end.
Eligibility For FIA Jobs
- The FIA in charge has the right to cancel the recruitment process, adjust the number of available positions, or make changes as needed for any position at any stage, without providing a reason.
- All candidates applying for the mentioned posts will receive a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit. The maximum age limit mentioned in the Recruitment Rules will be adjusted accordingly during the initial stages.
- No relaxation will be allowed in lower age limit.
- Age will be counted from the closing date fixed for receipt of applications.

Applicants who are currently employed in a government position should apply through the appropriate channel. They will need to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview process. Ex-servicemen are also eligible to apply for the positions.

Interested individuals may submit their online application for the FIA jobs on the FIA web portal recruitmentfia.gov.pk. After you apply for a job in the FIA, it’s important to regularly visit the FIA website for important updates. These updates may include lists of eligible and ineligible candidates, test center allocations, test date assignments, registration slips, and various test results like physical, skill, and written tests.
For the Jobs test, FIA will also inform you about the test schedule through SMS on the mobile number you provided. Please note that no information regarding the recruitment process will be sent through postal mail. So, it’s crucial to keep checking the FIA website (recruitmentfia.gov.pk) and your SMS messages to stay updated on any announcements or changes related to the recruitment process for your applied post.
Documents Required For FIA Jobs
Applicants must bring their original documents and attested copies of Domicile, Degrees, and certificates during the interview.
If any applicant provides false information, their candidacy will be canceled, and legal action will be taken at any stage of recruitment or even after employment.
By hand applications will not be accepted / entertained.
- Applicants must bring original CNIC to the FIA test centre.
- Mobile phones are not allowed in test centre premises.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview/ physical /endurance & skill tests.

Written Test & Interview
Candidates must pass a physical test involving a one-mile run within 7 minutes for males and within 10 minutes for females. A computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be conducted later.
Successful candidates will be shortlisted for an interview and undergo a medical examination by an authorized civil surgeon during the final selection.
